Kids in Motion Program

Our Kids in Motion Classes use a creative approach to share the joy of dance with your little one. The curriculum emphasizes classroom etiquette, gross motor skills, and basic dance technique while utilizing props, story-telling, and musical instruments to tap into the fun learning style of this delightful age group.
Kids in Motion 1
ages 3-4
Ballet, Creative Movement
40 minutes, once per week
Kids in Motion 2
ages 4-5
Ballet, Creative Movement, Tap
55 minutes, once per week
Kids in Motion 3
ages 5-6 (Kindergarten)
Ballet, Creative Movement, Tap
55 minutes, once per week

Kids in Motion Dress Code
Girls:
  • Pink leotard
  • Pink footed tights
  • Pink leather ballet slippers
  • Black tap shoes for Kids in Motion 2 & Kids in Motion 3
  • Skirts are permitted, but may need to be removed if they prove to be a distraction to dancers during class

Boys:
  • White t-shirt
  • Black shorts
  • White socks
  • Black leather ballet slippers
