Arts in Motion Dance Academy was founded in June 2012 by Co-Owners Casey Royer and Phil Rosenberg.  Miss Casey was formerly the Director of the dance program at River City Youth Fitness where she taught Phil's daughter Emily.  Phil is Co-Owner of JL Builders and has extensive experience in business start-up and marketing.  As parents at River City, Phil and his wife Mary quickly saw Miss Casey's talents as a teacher and both donated many hours as volunteers for River City's Recitals and other events.

In May of 2012, Magical Movement Dance & Fine Arts Academy Director LeAnn Garth announced her retirement after 13 years in business and a long teaching career.  Upon hearing this news, Phil and Casey realized that they could combine their skills - Casey as a dance instructor and artistic director, and Phil as a businessman and entrepreneur - to create a new dance studio and continue LeAnn Garth's incredible legacy.  Phil's wife Mary is also a part of the AIM team as the office manager.

Major renovations took place over the summer of 2012, and classes for the 2012-2013 year are underway.  We hope you will join us in this exciting new adventure!
