6-Week Session: April 15th-May 20th
Have you always wanted to Tap dance? But maybe classes were too intimidating? Are you a current AIM dancer who has never taken Tap, but want to add it to your repertoire? Join us for this super fun 6-week session for ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS! You’ll learn the basics of Tap, including terminology, rhythm, and technique, and laugh a lot along the way!

Is this class in person or virtual?
This is an IN-PERSON class held at Arts in Motion Dance Academy in Richmond's West End. Our address is 10492 Ridgefield Parkway.
What are your COVID precautions?
All dancers and staff are required to wear masks at all times. Class capacity is severely limited to allow for social distancing in the studio. We also have a serious around-the-clock cleaning regimen. Check out all of our COVID procedures and policies here.
Who is this class for?
Literally ANYONE 13 and older who wants to take it! No experience necessary whatsoever!
Do I need to buy Tap shoes?
Yup! We recommend Ellman's in Carytown. Let them know you're a beginner tapper and they'll get you all set up with the perfect pair of Tap shoes!
When is the class and how long does the class run?
Class is Thursdays 6:15pm-7:00pm. The 6-week session runs April 15th-May 20th
How much does it cost?
The 6-Week session is just $99! That's just $16.50 per class!
Is there a performance?
Nope! (We offer a performance option for our full-year classes, but not our shorter sessions.)
What happens after the 6-week session?
You're welcome to register for our 6-week summer session, which runs July 5th-August 12th. This beginner session will help you prepare for the summer class! After the summer session, our 2021-2022 dance season begins on September 13th.
